Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has said that at least 2,069 government officials have shifted to Dodoma Tanzania’s new capital, the citizen reports
Government Ministers, heads of departments and other senior officials are part of the group that has already moved at the first phase which ended in February.
The Prime Minister said the move will be complete by 2020. He however failed to mention how much money will be allocated for the move in the 2017/18 budget.
Tanzania’s speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Job Ndugai, expressed his surprised to the government delay in taking to parliament the law that would make Dodoma the capital city of the East African nation.
