PALESTINIAN REPORT: IDF STRIKES HAMAS TARGETS IN GAZA AFTER ROCKET ATTACK

    • Several airstrikes are said to have hit Hamas positions in Gaza, including in Beit Lahiya and at least two Hamas militants in Rafah in the southern part of the Hamas enclave.       IDF jets and tanks allegedly struck Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip on Monday afternoon in retaliation to a rocket launching that landed in southern Israeli territory overnight, according to Palestinian reports.
      Several airstrikes are said to have hit Hamas positions in Gaza, including in Beit Lahiya and at least two Hamas militants in Rafah in the southern part of the Hamas enclave. According to Palestinian Maan News agency, two strikes targeted the Shuhada Hamas military site in the central Gaza Strip west of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

      The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit did not comment on the strikes as it does not respond to foreign reports.

      Both Hamas and splinter Islamic organizations have launched rocket attacks into Israel. There has been no official claim of responsibility for the launching of the projectile, but Israel holds Hamas responsible for all fire coming from the Strip.
