Over 10,000 residents of Addis Ababa arrested last night, business shutdown this morning.

Shoppes and businesses clothed down this morning. The usual Sunday morning movement was banned all because the  security forces wanted to halt the massive protest planned for today.

This morning many parts of the city was quiet and the streets were out of cars and pedestrians, according to eye witnesses.

Security officers started searching individuals since yesterday for a red card prepared for the protest. It was planned everyone to show a red card during the protest in the sign of “Enough for the Regime!”

Many residents taken to unknown places by the police after they were found with the red cards.

At the moment over thousands of military forces with full military equipments are occupying Addis Ababa.
